The alinea ‘Movember’ team: Harvey, Justin, Stephen, Zach, Ian F, Chris Mac, James & Robbie, have been cultivating their mo’s in an effort to raise as much money as possible for men’s health charities this month.
75% of suicides in the UK are committed by men and suicide rates have soared year on year, with the impacts of COVID19 still yet to be determined. Societal expectations, perceptions of masculinity (often toxic) and the ‘man up’ attitude being some of the main contributors in preventing men from seeking help when they need it resulting in our brothers, fathers, uncles and friends becoming another preventable statistic.
