Richard and Richard will be presenting a session entitled ‘BIM and the QS – What’s the problem?’. They will explain how alinea have successfully figured out making BIM work for us and the journey we have been through to enhance our cost management delivery on complex projects, from early cost modelling through to contractor procurement. They will outline some of the issues we have encountered over our many 3D delivered projects and the value our methods and involvement can create for the project. However, BIM is certainly not a one click exercise for quantity surveyors!
