We are looking forward to attending the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2024 International Conference, “New or Renew: Addressing the Density Dilemma,” next week.
The event will take place on 23-27 September 2024, in London and Paris and will address the challenging dilemma facing the construction industry today: Should we build new buildings, or should we renew the existing ones?
The Turner & Townsend alinea (TTa) and Turner and Townsend (T&T) teams will be very present at the conference; our roles include:
- TTa Director Steve Watts is chairing the opening plenary panel discussion on ‘New or Renew’, with representatives from New York, Toronto, Singapore, Paris, and London.
- Steve is also chairing the Best Tall Buildings Awards jury throughout the conference, with awards given at the gala dinner.
- We have a speaking slot at one of the sessions to present on the commercial aspects of re-using tall buildings by Project Director Justin Gibson, London Towers: New or Renew? 25 September, 1:35pm, Track A, London
