On Friday, 4th April, our Developer 1 team participated in the Row50 event hosted by CBRE, rowing a combined 50km to support Alzheimer’s Society.
This annual event brings together teams and individuals from the construction industry to row 50km, raising funds and awareness for an important cause. This year, the challenge raised £50,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that supports people affected by dementia, funds research, and campaigns for better care and treatment. With dementia affecting nearly one million people in the UK, its work is crucial in providing support and driving forward new treatments and support services.
Congratulations to the team, consisting of Betsy Clarke, Dom Dunne, Gus Ridl, Henry Carrington, and Matthew Oakes, who showed incredible dedication and teamwork and managed to finish mid-place among all the teams.
The funds raised will support Alzheimer’s Society’s mission to make dementia a national health priority and improve care, support, and awareness across the UK.
