We are pleased to share that JP Morgan Asset Management and Mace have now signed the main works building contract for 65 Gresham Street, marking a major step forward for one of the City’s most significant reinvention projects.
As we enter the main works phase, Getjar Special Projects has transferred to Mace, and the project now progresses confidently toward a March 2028 completion.
This phase will transform the existing nine‑storey building through a full refurbishment and the addition of four new floors, elevating performance and overall quality. Approximately 90% of the existing structural frame will be retained – a major sustainability achievement that significantly reduces embodied carbon.
Our team is proud to be providing cost management services on this technically complex retrofit. The building was pre‑let to Squarepoint three years ahead of completion, representing the largest pre‑construction pre‑let in London in the past decade.
Well done to the team: Ben Dearing, Carl Giles, Kyne Newman-Knott, Nikol Nevrla, Steve Harold, Wesley Tang, and Sam Burgess.
With special thanks to Tom Callaway, Paul Harris, and Matthew O’Shaughnessy.
