We are delighted to share that Brookfield Properties has secured planning permission on 99 Bishopsgate, a 54-storey sustainable tower comprising over one million sq ft of premium office space.

Alongside a generous workspace offering, the scheme will inject new life into the community, generating over 7,500 new jobs and encompassing 60,000 sq ft of vibrant public and social amenities, including a new standalone six-storey cultural building. A dynamic seven-day-a-week City Market and new pedestrian connections will also be introduced to enhance the public realm, improving access in the area.
99 Bishopsgate has been designed by RSHP with sustainability and occupier wellbeing at its core. With extensive vertical gardens integrated into the building’s exterior to foster biodiversity and numerous expansive terrace spaces built into the design. The project also prioritises adaptive reuse, retaining the existing foundations, which comprise nearly 50% of the building’s mass, to reduce embodied carbon.
