One of the most rewarding parts of our work on the Church Street regeneration project is the opportunity to give back to the local community.
Recently, members of our Central, Local & Government team volunteered at a community Eid celebration in Westminster, organised by Paddington Development Trust (PDT). The atmosphere, people and sense of togetherness made it a truly memorable day.
This initiative forms part of the wider Regenerating Church Street programme, which will deliver around 1,750 new homes, improved public spaces, a new library, an enhanced market and community services that support local health and wellbeing. We’re working closely with residents, businesses, and partners to help bring these improvements to life.
Lina from PDT, who organised the event, said:
“I just wanted to extend a huge thank you to you and the whole Turner & Townsend alinea team for your amazing support at our Eid event. Your team were absolute stars, so dedicated, so positive, and genuinely wonderful to work with. We truly appreciate all their hard work, time, and energy. Your help with supporting activities, serving food, and staying with us right until the end for the clean-up made such a big difference. You stood by us throughout the event, and it meant a lot to us.
We look forward to seeing you and the team again at our future events. You’re always welcome.”
A huge thank you to Ayyoub Kawadri, Amaan Sheikh, Amin Rahman and Salik Khan for representing the business with such energy, kindness and professionalism.
We’re proud to support community initiatives like this and look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with local residents as the project progresses.
