An emphasis on Social Value is greater than ever before, and rightly so – especially when evaluating project bids.
The potential success of a project is no longer quantified only through monetary savings or value. It is also key to consider Environmental, Social and Governance factors. Where real estate is working toward making fundamental changes to reduce carbon and address environmental impacts; social considerations such as sustaining established communities, ethical procurement, local job creation and wellbeing of the project team are imperative to achieving value.
