Last week while temperature records were sky high, a team of alinea’s tall building experts visited our 22 Bishopsgate project to talk about sky scrapers at the annual Tall Buildings Conference.
This year the conference focussed on the high priorities of carbon reduction and cost inflation. With a broad cross section of consultants, contractors and suppliers there were very insightful discussions around volumetric high-rise construction and the potential opportunities these systems could present for societies when considering tall buildings.
Our key takeaways from the day:
