Turner & Townsend alinea take home two awards at the BCO London Awards

We are delighted to announce that two Turner & Townsend alinea projects were successful at the BCO London Awards last week.

Taking home the award for ‘Best Commercial Workplace’, was 8 Bishopsgate for Mitsubishi Estate London Ltd. This 75,000 sq ft scheme comprises high-quality amenity space, including cafes, lounges, and a remarkable 200-seat auditorium.

BP London, 25 North Colonnade for Blackstone, was successful in the ‘Best Fit Out Workplace’ award category. With sustainability at the forefront, this 20,000 sqm workspace scheme is vibrant and agile, the optimal environment for collaboration and innovation.

Richard Kauntze, Chief Executive of the British Council for Offices (BCO), said: “The BCO’s regional awards are the perfect moment for the industry to reflect on the achievements of the past year, as well as to recognise the progress being made in driving forward higher industry standards for the years to come. From sensitively restoring buildings to providing state-of-the-art wellbeing spaces, this year’s London winners exemplify the strides being made in design and occupier experience. Well done to all the 2024 London winners, and best of luck for the National Awards this October.”

Congratulations to everyone involved in these schemes, including our project teams, who provided high-level cost management services.

We look forward to the BCO National Awards on 8 October, where the London winners will compete nationally.
