We are pleased to announce that Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has received endorsement from Croydon Council for redeveloping Croydon town centre, named the North End Quarter.
Following many months of public consultation from residents, the approved masterplan outlines the vision to transform the existing Whitgift and Centrale shopping centres into a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable town centre. These changes include the introduction of a mixed-use area featuring homes, shops, cultural venues, and public spaces.
The redevelopment is anticipated to bring significant economic benefits, including the creation of jobs and increased investment in the area. We are excited to provide full cost management services in this transformation project.
Construction is expected to begin in 2028, with detailed designs to be developed and a full planning application to be submitted next.
